"Excellent quality food delivered to your door.
I experienced fast shipping which is so important with fresh meats. The salmon was like it was brought right off the boat.

"Recently purchased the Poultry Pack (Chicken and Turkey)
This is some of the best chicken we have ever had.
The BREAST are trimmed to perfection - never any waste.
The ground turkey and chicken is very fresh and flavor-full.

"I wrote a review on the Sirloin steaks several week ago - Complaining about the tasteless tough product.

I am now writing an updated review.
First the Company responded the next day and volunteered to send us 6 filet mignon steaks (no cost)
We have tried these replacement steaks and have to revise our earlier review.
The replacements were tender and very tasty - definitely will reorder

"I have loved all the products I have purchased except the ground beef. I have bought ground beef twice, thinking that the first experience was just a bad batch. Both purchases I found had some of the same issues. I found that the ground beef had hard pieces in it (not sure what they were), and it was very tough. I have tried this product twice, and I don't think I will order it again. I have enjoyed the other products, salmon, ground chicken, chicken breast and thighs, and steaks. "

"We bought the sirloin steaks.
They are tough as shoe leather
They have no taste.

I have been cooking steaks personally and professionally for many years - i tried several different methods of preparation.
All the same - no taste.
I never expect Sirloin to be tender as filet but these but, expect good flavor.

Description

Our passion for great food began in 1975 when Ray Rastelli, Jr. opened a butcher shop called the Meat Stop in Deptford, NJ. He loved bringing quality meat to Deptford-area families and within a few years his brother Tony joined him and opened a second Meat Stop. Together, they went on to open a total of eight around South Jersey, transforming the stores into a growing business that allows them to serve great, quality products to families around the country.

The story of Rastelli isn't about food so much as it is about our passion for great food. Food you can feel good about eating, buying and serving to your family. We believe in providing our customers with products that are best in class.
